U.S. Embassy Services – March 2025 Update

Writer: Shira BrownShira Brown

New Booking System

All American Citizen Services at the U.S. Embassy in Israel are now booked through the new online platform: U.S. Travel Docs. This website streamlines the appointment process and ensures a smoother experience.

Services Available

  • New Passport Applications: For first-time applicants or those replacing lost/stolen passports.

  • Passport Renewals:

    • Adult renewals can now be submitted through the Dropbox Renewal Program. Applicants must print out the Non-Appointment Confirmation Form from the booking site and include it with their application package.

    • Child renewals still require an in-person appointment.

  • Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA): Start your CRBA application on the same website to report the birth of a U.S. citizen abroad. The application process remains unchanged.

  • Social Security Number (SSN): First-time applications and replacement cards are booked through the updated system.

How to Book Your Appointment

  1. Visit the booking platform: U.S. Travel Docs.

  2. Choose the service you need.

  3. Print out the Non-Appointment Confirmation (if applicable) for ds82 adult renewals, and the Appointment Confirmation for minor renewals, first us passports, and crba.

  4. Attend your appointment or submit your documents through the dropbox service.

Stay updated with these new changes to avoid delays and ensure a seamless process. For help navigating your U.S. Embassy appointments, feel free to reach out for guidance!
